I'm doing a portal for a shopping district and was wondering how other developers dealt with similar sites, especially as regards ''guarantees'' of SEO, etc. I'd personally rather have everyone sign up for a flat fee and be done with it...
Portal questionsWell the first thing I would say to this is that no one can guarantee that your page will always come up first.?So be careful when hiring someone to do SEO.?I have seen some companies try to make claims they just can't keep.
As far as the storefront goes, a one price fits all pricing structure is hard to get across.?Look at iTunes for example.?Now they have tiered pricing.?It really depends on what you are selling whether a flat fee for all products works.?This just comes down to simple math.?As long as you can make a profit doing this go ahead, if not consider pricing items individually.
