I uninstalled Adobe CS3 and now anytime I right click on a file I get the message ''please wait while windows configures Adobe PDF Creation Add-on'' This is very annoying, how do I stop this.

Any time I right click on a file or folder I get this annoying message. And it tries to install, I can cancel, or allow it to try to install until I get an ''install failed'' message.

Windows Explorer
It also happens when I just double click on a word file to open it
%26gt; Any type of file or folder or a specific one?
Yes, all types of folders and files
%26gt; What programs are running at the time it happens?
It happens no matter what programs are running
see if it's in the add/remove list and uninstall it if it's there
I did the obvious and searched adobe.com for the message and got:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/search/index.cfm?loc=en_us%26amp;term=Adobe+PDF+Creation+ Add-on
Maybe something there will help.
Not sure if this will help you but I had the same problem (dont know why?) Anyway, I went into Control panel and found that Adobe PDF was set as the default printer???? I removed it and voila....problem solved. The strangest thing of all is that I dont use Adobe PDF, I prefer Foxit reader as its much quicker. Hope this helps :-)
That doesn't seem to be the problem, but thanks for the idea.
